The Cost of a Number

One late payment can quietly close doors you never see.

A denied apartment application. A declined auto loan. A credit card offer that never comes. A higher insurance premium calculated from a number you've never actually looked at closely.

Most of what damages a credit file isn't fraud or bad luck — it's an error. A collections account reported twice. A charge-off past its reporting window. A balance a creditor never verified. The bureaus are required by law to report only complete, accurate, and verifiable information. In practice, that rarely happens without someone holding them to it.

That's the work. Not a shortcut — a process.

  • Collections accounts common
  • Charge-offs common
  • Late payment marks common
  • High utilization reporting common
  • Identity theft & fraudulent accounts specialized
  • Denied for financing, housing, or credit outcome

The Process

Four stages. Documented at every step.

No guesswork, no form-letter templates. Every file is reviewed individually and every dispute is tracked from submission to resolution.

01

Audit

We pull and examine your full report across all three bureaus, line by line, for accuracy and reporting-compliance.

02

Identify

We flag every item that is inaccurate, unverifiable, duplicated, or past its legal reporting window.

03

Dispute

We challenge each item directly with the bureaus and original creditors, in writing, on a documented cycle.

04

Monitor & Report

We track every bureau response, escalate where the law allows, and give you a clear update each cycle.

Before You Ask

Direct answers, no hedging.

Is credit repair legal?

Yes. The Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) govern this industry specifically to protect consumers, and we operate within both. You always retain the right to dispute inaccurate information yourself, directly with the bureaus, at no cost.

Will my score go up a specific number of points?

We don't promise a number, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Outcomes depend on the accuracy of your file, how creditors respond, and your broader credit profile. What we commit to is a documented, professional process on every item we identify.

How long does the process take?

Bureaus have up to 30–45 days to respond to a dispute by law. Most files go through multiple cycles as items are challenged, verified, or removed. We'll walk you through realistic expectations during your consultation.

What if an item isn't removed?

Not every disputed item results in removal — some are accurately reported and will be verified as such. In those cases, we shift focus to what can realistically be improved: newer trade lines, utilization, and remaining disputable items.
